Barbara Angermeier Malcolm was born in Evansville, Indiana and grew up, married, and, along with her late husband Don, raised two children in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

She is retired from a career in retail SCUBA sales and has traveled the world on dive trips. She always said that she could tell a good story and one November about 15 years ago she decided to try her hand at writing one during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

Over time, that manuscript turned into her second novel, Horizon. Her fourth foray into the thirty-day writing challenge produced the manuscript that grew, through eight rewrites, into her first novel, The Seaview.

Now she has a pile of NaNoWriMo manuscripts waiting to be edited and rewritten into shape for publication. Her two self-published books are available on Amazon.com. In her spare, non-writing time, Barbara likes to draw, paint with watercolors, spoil her grandchildren, knit, and cook.
