Ellyn M. Baker is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Writing has been a passion for most of her life. She published The Cause: Love & War in 2012, a historical Civil War fiction, with the now defunct Tate Publishing but has since recovered the book and outstanding copies.

Her writing endeavors continue as she is currently revising The Cause to first person and writing its sequel. Ellyn’s other passions include Civil War re-enacting, with her family and continuing to speak about history and the civilian side of the Civil War.

Ellyn was recently a panelist at Untitled Town 2019 in Green Bay on how to transport your reader to your world.
