Valerie Routhieaux

Valerie Routhieaux began writing at a young age but didn’t start on the road to publication until 1980 when Scarred was born. It took 32 years of learning the craft and honing Scarred before it was ready for publication in 2012. Scarred is the first of a four-book Colonial America series in the historical genre. The other books in the series are Manifest Destiny, Stowaway, and Freedom’s Cry. She recently published Thread of Evidence in 2019, a mystery, and Legacy in 2020, a mystery. Valerie is an active member of the Green Bay Area Writer’s Guild, where she continues to learn her craft and get feedback on the different novels she is working on. She enjoys a gym membership at the YWCA where she swims most mornings. Valerie is also an active member of her local church.

Valerie lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Is the mother of three adult children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Being from Green Bay, she is also an ardent Packers fan.
